2011 Bubbler Foundation HIstorical Award

Bubbler Foundation Historical Award

Presented to the Craighead Family

South Middleton Township is the site of Craghead Station, where Agnes and Charles Craighead lived for many years. Numerous descendents of this family have been prominent naturalists who have increased our knowledge of the natural world and educated others about it. The 2011 Bubbler Foundation Historical Award goes to the Craighead family.

As part of the award ceremony local author and historian Tom Benjey gave a presentation on the Craighead family and their time in South Middleton Township.
